Upload your visuals on youtube, send the link via mail or facebook to useabrand (office[at]useabrand.com) – we will display the best visuals on the useabrand shopwindow based in Zollerngasse 15, 1070 Vienna right across famous szene club´s like: “Europa”, “Sapa” or “st.art”! Submission deadline is next Thursday (20.01.2011)! Till the end of January 2011 we realized in cooperation with useabrand a lighting installation using a high resolution, full-color 3,20m x 2,40m (64×48 pixel) LED Display.

Display ²

Durchgang Odeongasse – Zirkusgasse, 1020 Wien The display is controlled by three chained AurinkoLink-Controllers – frame data is stored on an Arduino Duemilanove (using Toublos Arduino export function). Check our software page for details. Because of the simple and efficient hardware design the whole setup draws a maximum of 6 watts at full brightness from the grid. Typical consumption is about 3 watts.

1024 & 1 bit Nacht

1024 & 1 bit Nacht

Q202 is an open platform for art and culture in the second and the 20th district of Vienna. The goal is communication and collaboration among artists, as well as the integration of art and cultural issues in urban design.
We presented our flexible LED-Matrix, mounted horizontally and bent over a girder. Visitors were able to interact with the LEDs by using a WiiMote.

Chandelier

We constructed a five-sided led led chandelier on the art on wires symposium in oslo.

Salgonom

We built the LED-Installation Salgonom to test-drive our new controller Software Aurinko together with the Animation editor Toublo. We found a wall made of glass bricks at the entrance of the Arsenal Objekt 210 and thought – “This would be an ideal place to realize a light installation!”. Because of the transparency of the glass bricks, the matrix can be viewed from the inside as well as from the outside of the building.
